Recognizing the interest in green building practices, Intermountain Design Inc. has taken the action to be the Inland Northwest's leader in environmentally-friendly furnishings.

Representing leaders like the HON Company and Kimball Office as well as many other environmentally-conscious manufacturers, we are knowledgeable and prepared to help you understand how furniture can assist in your green building efforts.

Interest in the green buildings and interiors has been suppported by the United States Green Building Council. The organization has established the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, which has been nationally accepted as the benchmark for design, construction and operation of green buildings. This rating system addresses a number of furnture construction aspects including core materials, energy factors and indoor air quality.
